The interfaces with transition or buffer levels impede the warmth circulation with the machine channel and significantly impact the gadget performance. On this evaluate, we summarize the three different approaches to achieve the GaN-on-diamond wafers for the fabrication of AlGaN/GaN HEMTs. The problems and difficulties of each approach are reviewed
